City Council Meeting - April 15, 2008

At the April 15, 2008 Galt City Council meeting, the design consultant made a presentation to the City Council delineating options for aesthetic treatments and landscaping of the project. After careful consideration of the costs and long-term maintenance responsibilities, the City Council selected several aesthetic items for inclusion into the project. These included treatment of the bridge railings, pedestrian lighting on the bridges and C Street, and landscaping of key areas. Planning for additional landscaping was also included and may be phased in over time as funding permits.
