IGC (Interest Group Committee) Meeting

Membership:
The Interest Group Committee represents selected government agencies and organizations (including the school district), businesses, and utility providers who have recognized public interest in the outcome of the Central Galt Interchange Project.

Mission and Function:
The mission of the IGC is to provide comments and input to the Project
Development Team (PDT) in order that the concerns and perspectives of their
individual constituencies are considered in the design and decision making
process.

Members of the IGC will have the opportunity to participate in regular
informational meetings during the course of the project (a total of 5 are
estimated over the next 24 months) and periodically will be provided
memoranda, reports, etc. for review and comment.

Current Activities:
At the recommendation of the project's consultant, the Project Development
Team (PDT) and the IGC members recommended narrowing the interchange design alternatives from 15 to 6 and finally to 3. These are alternatives number 2A, 7, and 13A.
